Data Deletion

You can have every piece of personal data Vesper holds about you deleted. This page explains how.

Deleting Your Account and Journal

Email vesper@caraji.io from the address your account uses, with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm within 30 days, usually much sooner. Deleting your account:

• Permanently erases your journal: every entry, reflection, mood, and draw;
• Permanently erases your natal chart and the birth data it was computed from;
• Removes the push-reminder subscriptions on your devices;
• Cannot be undone.

Turning Off Reminders Instead

If you only want to stop reminder emails or push notifications, you do not need to delete your account: turn them off any time in your settings.

What Deletion Covers

Everything Vesper stores about you lives in one place, so deletion is complete: there are no shares, public links, or copies handed to other people to chase down. Deleted data is erased from our live systems within 30 days and rolls out of encrypted backups as those backups cycle.
